Scope of services

EstateRGuard provides informational legal assistance, review of purchase contracts, title checks and guidance on regulatory steps relevant to apartment purchases. Specific legal representation or notarisation services may be subject to separate engagement terms and fees.

Service offerings may be modified or discontinued. We will provide notice of significant changes affecting ongoing engagements where practical.

We strive to maintain availability of online resources but do not represent that the website or services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Scheduled maintenance and technical limitations may affect access.

User rules and conduct

Users must comply with applicable laws and these rules when interacting with EstateRGuard services and staff.

User-provided content

Documents, messages and other material you provide to EstateRGuard in connection with services are user-provided content.

You retain ownership of documents and information you submit. You grant EstateRGuard the rights necessary to use that content for the purpose of providing the requested services.

By submitting content you grant EstateRGuard a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy and process the material solely to deliver services and comply with legal obligations.

You are responsible for ensuring that content provided does not infringe third-party rights and that personal data belonging to others is submitted in compliance with applicable law.

Where lawful and practicable, you may request removal of user content. Removal requests will be evaluated in light of ongoing legal matters and retention obligations.

Intellectual property

EstateRGuard and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the website, brand, content and service materials, except for user-provided content permitted under these terms.

• Do not reproduce or distribute EstateRGuard proprietary content without permission.
• Do not remove or alter copyright or other proprietary notices on content.
• Requests for licence or re-use should be directed to EstateRGuard via the contact address.

Paid services and fees

Certain legal services, document reviews and representation are fee-based. Fee details are set out in engagement agreements or quotations provided prior to commencement of paid work.

Pricing is based on the scope of work and may be provided as fixed fees or hourly rates where applicable. Estimates are provided for transparency but may be adjusted if the scope changes.

Payments must be made according to the terms in the engagement agreement. Accepted payment methods will be specified in invoices and communications.

If subscription-based services are offered, the subscription terms, renewal procedures and cancellation methods will be described in the subscription agreement.

Refunds, if applicable, are handled in accordance with the engagement agreement and relevant consumer protection rules.

Cancellation terms for paid services are set out in the engagement agreement and consider work already performed and costs incurred.

Clients are responsible for applicable taxes related to paid services. Invoices will indicate any taxes charged as required by law.

Prices for services may be updated; ongoing engagements will follow the terms agreed at the outset unless mutually amended in writing.

Non-payment may result in suspension of services, and we may pursue outstanding amounts in accordance with contractual and legal options.

Limitation of liability

Termination

Either party may terminate a service engagement in accordance with the applicable engagement agreement. Termination does not affect rights or obligations accrued prior to termination.

On termination, fees due for services performed remain payable. We will return or securely store client documents as agreed, subject to legal retention requirements.

Privacy and data protection

Our privacy practices are described in the Privacy Information available on EstateRGuard.club. Personal data is processed for service delivery, legal compliance and legitimate business purposes as described in that policy.

Communications

We may communicate by email, phone or post using contact details you provide. For sensitive communications related to legal matters, agreed secure channels should be used.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in law, services or business practices. Material changes will be communicated; continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swiss law. Where mandatory laws of a different jurisdiction apply to a specific user, those laws will prevail to the extent required.

Dispute resolution
